Growing up with guitar

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. After starting out with the classical guitar, I soon discovered the electric guitar and fell in love with the instrument.

As a huge fan of indie rock and alternative music growing up as a teenager, the electric guitar became the gateway that got me closer to my musical heroes: it allowed me to play along to my favourite songs and—with the versatility offered by the electric guitar through amps and pedals—capture the specific tones of the artists I loved.

As I got older I began to expand my guitar playing repertoire and enjoy a variety of guitar styles including jazz, blues, classic rock, and others.

Ain’t

Over the past five years I’ve composed songs for my band Ain’t and have recorded with a number of critically acclaimed producers, including Ali Chant, Theo Verney, and Oli Barton-Wood.

In Ain’t, I’ve had the privilege of touring the UK multiple times, played at festivals across the UK and Europe, and have played iconic venues including the Electric Ballroom, The Garage, Scala, and the 100 Club.

I am continuing to write and release music with my band and I’m currently in the process of writing for our debut album with my bandmates.

I’m committed to safeguarding and hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Things come up and sometimes lessons have to be cancelled - that’s entirely understandable.

I operate a 24-hour window cancellation policy:

  • Outside 24-hours
    We will cancel free of charge and will reschedule for another time

  • Within 24-hours
    Full lesson fee payable
